Transaction details
At Open Collective every movement of money is recorded as several transactions, so a single contribution becomes a credit to the collective, a host fee to the fiscal host and a fee for the payment processor, and reading a collective's history meant putting those pieces back together in your head. Fiscal hosts had no meaningful way to work with their own ledger, and more often than not our team ended up filtering and exporting that data for them, so at the end of 2023 we designed a transactions tool for them, and this is what opens when you click one of its rows.
