Dashboard
The dashboard is where every account on Open Collective lands, so it has to work as well for someone submitting their first expense as for an admin running a fiscal host. We first shipped it in early access as Workspace in 2023, and it took back the Dashboard name when it went public that August. These are two of the iterations we designed during my time as Head of Design there, each with three accounts inside, a collective admin, a fiscal host admin and a new user.

Closing off to new donations
After six years of support we have reached the goal we set for the compiler's long-term maintenance fund, so we are pausing new recurring donations from today. Everything already pledged will keep going to the maintainers, and the budget for the next two releases is covered in full. Thank you to every one of you who made that possible — we will post a full breakdown of how the fund was spent at the end of the quarter.
Roland Okafor published a new update on BabelOct 2, 2025Babel 8.0 release!
The release this collective has been funding for two years is out. It drops the long tail of legacy transforms, ships a faster parser and is the first major version planned entirely around what contributors asked for in last year's survey. The full changelog and upgrade guide are on the blog.
